Ok spent the day going over my New USED scooter an 2008 Roketa MC-62-250. Now the previous owner said he did PDI on it. But still had original Fuel Line on it. Of course it was leaking like a sieve out of them today so that is what really started my digging. Today was the first Real nice Day since I got it home and first day off since that I have had time to work on it wanted to get all fluids changed out before I really start riding it. So This is where the couple questions I have come in.
1 I Think it is a bit sluggish. It is basically the same motor as my Dads Linhai Mainstreet but just not seem to have the power his has. So I am thinking there is some carb issues. I think maybe some of the crappy China fuel line might be gunking it up a bit. So Is the Carb the Same on both the Linhai clone as the Honda clone 250s?
2 now this is the most important question. WHERE the HECK is the coolant filler and coolant Resivore on the MC-62-250? I will be damned if I could find it today. We had half the plastic off to replace all the fuel lines but I never could find where to check or Add Water.

Had the CVT off and appart. All the greasy sludge is all out of that thing. Believe it or not the rollers are not in that bad of shape. I have a set of 12 gram slidders with it. I am going to try and get it up on the Lift tomorrow and see if the slidders do help some. Thanks for the link I will take a look through that right now.

Todd, I looked at that link earlier and couldn't determine the radiator fill. Your scoot is the same as the NST Viper 260 or VOG 260, but there isn't much out there on these scoots either. Here's an instruction I found from another forum:
"There should be 2 screws on the top , but below the handlebars to remove. Then take the tunnel cover off, 2 more screws. Then remove the glove box section. 2 screws on the left side and 2 on the right + 1 screw on the top, inside the glove box. This will expose the radiator fill cap and the overflow reservoir."
If this is what is necessary, then I can see why the previous owner sold the scoot?

Thanks. I will check it out. That really does not sound that bad. No more of a PITA than on my Dad Mainstreet. The filler is in his you have to take out the right glove box to access and the resvoir is under the right side foot rest.

Thanks Cruiser. It was right there after taking out the 2 screws. It was great. I actually like that location way better than the location on my YY250T and is way easyer to get to than my Dads Mainstreet 260.

Your welcome, Todd. Glad to hear it wasn't too involved.
