Hey Riders, Just a rundown of the Cheap Mufflers that come with the Trikes. They have the Rivets holding the Chrome cover and the Rivets come loose and eventually fall out. But as all this is happening exhuast is leaking from the back and front all around the cover.
I have been looking for Short Mufflers that will fit on the Trike but have had not luck. Because of the Axle and the Cover the Muffler has to be around 13 inches Long Total. So if anyone runs into Short Mufflers give a hollower.
I tried one from Jegs but it was straight through and to loud. Alleyoop

The lawnmower mufflers are not good, Dwild62 tried one on his Trike. He got the Briggs biggest muffler they had and it worked but not well. I also do not want it to be loud maybe the best thing is to have one built if I can't find one. Alleyoop

Well Alley, I know at least 6 people here in town that run a mower muffler. Not sure if they're B&S or not, but they all got them from Tractor Supply. They work sort of like a performance muffler on a budget and you have to re-jet and change out the air intake, but I can tell you that just because it didn't work for David doesn't mean they don't work well; they do. Now if you don't like the sound, that's another story!

Rich, Yes, I do not like the sound and they are loud. I want something that is more on the quiet side. Alleyoop
