I would say it is high...stock they are usually around 140-150psi when new...

The highest I have seen is a Kymco People -S50 at 256 psi...

Kymco Agility 50 is 228 psi

The Kymco YUP is 164 psi...

i found this on answers.com.dont no if it is riht though. A 1:1 ratio is equal to 0 PSI. 14.7 PSI is equal to a 2:1 ratio. Just multiply your ratio by 14.7 to get PSI, or divide PSI by 14.7 to get ratio.

I know some scooters have them... But it really sounds high to me... what is the spec for that engine?

Putting in a second gasket may raise the jug a bit but it sure wouldn't drop the compression ratio that much...

Well I put it back together with 1 base gasket.It starts up but only with the kick starter.It would do the same with 2 base gaskets.So I'm not sure yet this is my first time owning a scoot.I guess learn as I go.You guys are big help thanks a million.The top end on this thing is a little loud I set the valves at. 004 I'm going to check them again tomorrow.I will keep updating thanks again
