Starting the installation. Step 1: Replace carburetor w/throttle body assembly and attach throttle cable. I ran into a problem with the throttle cable. The cable bracket on the throttle body is set up so that the cable comes from the front . The way the cable is routed it will have some fairly sharp bends and may tend to bind. Also the end of cable is not long enough to wrap the around pulley. I'm trying to decide what to do about it. Roy

Step 2: Find a secure place to mount MAP sensor and secure with wire tie. Connect MAP sensor to intake using 4mm tube. In the photo it is the grey hose going to intake. Roy

Step 3: Fuel tank conversion. Remove fuel tank if necessary. Drill a hole 5mm-6mm diameter in upper wall of fuel tank, or just below the filler neck. Push fuel return line in about 10 mm deep and seal with silicone. I'm not going to drill a hole in the tank. I will use the vent pipe that went to the charcoal canister instead. I have previously eliminated the emission junk. I will drill a small vent hole in the cap. I think this should work.

Roy, I would make a bracket for the Throttle Cable to position the throttle cable more inline with the throttle control like on regular carbs. I am sure there is a bolt near enough or hooked the bracket to the frame. Alleyoop

Alley, I will make a new mount for the bracket and run the cable to the pulley from the back. Hopefully this will solve both my problems. I will run the cable from the bottom of the pulley to the anchor hole. This will allow the short cable to reach far enough.

Well I made a bracket for the throttle cable. I will modify and reinforce it later as it tends to flex slightly. Roy

No it's not running yet. I had to go fix a broken water pipe for my sister today. Then I discovered it is leaking oil suspect base gasket. So I gotta tear it down and replace. Man it always something. Roy

Man, I forgot to stop and pick up a manual fuel valve. I need to take the vacuum petcock off the tank and install a manual valve.

I got the fuel pump and pressure regulator mounted. The correct mounting of fuel supply components are. The fuel injector lower than the fuel pump, the fuel pump and fuel filter must be lower than the lowest part of the fuel tank. My tank has a vacuum petcock. I will need to replace or modify and use a manual valve. I forgot to get manual petcock today so will do that tomorrow. Roy
