With the new sliders and the new belt, my scoot's lost about 500 rpms and runs like a scalded monkey! She used to hold 5,000 rpm @ 55 mph, now 4,500. Saves me gas! LOL Like 70 MPG wasn't good enough. ;-)

Sliders are easy to fall out of place, so I hold the slider pressure plate tight against the sliders then slide it onto the crank. I think flipping it over move the sliders out of place.

LadyCat BTW the video was great. I think it will help a lot of people when it comes to changing the sliders or rollers and putting on a new belt. Can't help you with the dog transportation. Nice thing you are doing, and lets hope people adopt a dog before buying one. We have a rescue Basset and she is the kindest dog and just loves us to death.

Thanks for saving a life Speedracer! Don't forget to spread the news about spay/neuter in your area, it saves so many lives if we prevent the litters! With 7,000 dogs and cats put to sleep at the one shelter in our parish alone last year, it's more than a public service announcement. Over 400 were put down in the month of April this year. Pet overpopulation is a terrible problem here and across the US.
