Bashan thanks for the reply, made me realize what I was asking was misleading. Here goes another way. If I Stay with 50cc take Scrappys advice and upgrade with the big bore kit, performance variator, coil and bando belt . I think add performance gears and that will do it, give me the power for the hills since thats what Im doing it for. Any opinions will be appreciated. ;D

I've never owned a 50cc but I think you're trying to mix apples and oranges. The 50cc and 125/150cc are compatible on a lot of things but I'm pretty sure not from the variator on back. The first number on the belts is the length, you mentioned Scrappy's site, if you look on it you'll see that the 50cc and 150cc engines have different belts, none of them are the same. Look on the MonsterGY6 site, he sells a motor mount specifically for adapting a 150cc to a 50cc frame, there is no direct swap out as far as I've ever heard. I think that may be your problem. Rich

Rich Might be mixing but since it the same frame that some are installing factory from 125 to 250 water cooled, I know it is possible. I need to rewrite this one because it is misleading as to what I want to do as I see from your response, sorry.

The 50cc have the engine mounts on the bottom of the engine case, the 125++ have them on the top of the case.
You need an adapter as Bashan pointed out...

No replacement for displacement... scooters are generally lousy on hills... unless they are 250cc or bigger.
