Wow. When I joined a few days ago, I mentioned needing some pro help eventually. I didn't expect to be asking after 150 miles.

This morning on my way to work, I noticed that when I ran over railroad tracks or a big bump, my engine and digital clock cut out for a second or two, but then sprang back to life as I was still moving.

However, on my way home from work I noticed a major loss of power and then the engine sputtered out. I pulled off the road and it restarted after cranking several times. It ran for about 1/4 and sputtered out again. I filled up the gas just to make sure that wasn't the problem. Long story short, it repeated this sputtering out and eventual restarting until my battery finally died and I pushed it the rest of the way home.

I expected problems, but I was really hoping they would show up later. Not 5 days after I got it.

Well I hope this is not your problem, but when that happened to me the electrical from stator had got tooo hot and melted the connector plugs from stator too regulator....I pray this is not yor issue...Did you smell burning plastic or rubber??? Might need to take off some plastics too see what is going on. Sorry there Kymest.. but you are going to have to get familiar with your scoot.Good or bad you are better off for that....

Check the Coil wire going to your plug it may have popped off the Plug and is not making good contact with the plug. Or the wires going to the Coil the connectors could be loose on the coil connectors. Something most likely came loose or broke. Also check the INTAKE MANIFOLD it could have cracked from the jolts, carb is not supported where it connects to the Air Filter hose and the carb bounces around and that is what cracks the INTAKE MANIFOLD.

I bought it at a B&M store so they came and picked it up under warranty. They said a wire just came loose from the fuse box when I went over some railroad tracks. I'm sure I will become intimately familiar with this scooter over time. Thanks for your input.
