Well there is a lot that has gone kaputi...I have replaced One stator, a regulator, two coils, a couple of plugs, a Battery, Three back tires, Three mufflers, Replaced all fuel lines and Vacume lines, fixed numerous Electrical connections ( mostly by soldering the wires and eleminating the plugs ), Added all LED's throughout the system, and also added a Led light bar across the trunk, I use 91 octane, and have replaced coolant twice, Replaced a mirror (dont ask why), Changed to 12gm Sliders, and several belts ( some just to try for fun ) and have replaced brake pads, as well as bled the brakes a time or two. All in all I think that is it and not too bad for 20K......Lookin to post the fifty/k in two years or so. So Scoot on peoples....

There are only a couple of things that would make it stick...Does the temp gauge fluctuate after it comes on???

Hey Bashan, I am up in th foothills of northern calif. I did have sucess today monday. After a good day Sun. was able to put some saelant on the trani side of the scoot and actually had to make my own gasket for the right side since I ordrered wrong gasket/ or did not check it when it came. L.E.D.'s did not come in yet so I will have to wait. But I do believe oil leak is gone. If I was a better with the tech side I would post pics. . Nice thing though was I broke my gas recirc. tip on air box and tried to J.B.Weld it Sun....Broke it Mon. putting it together, got into my bucket of nuts&bolts found a plumbing compression fitting same dimensions and screwed it into air box like it was meant to be...and low and behold it works like a charm..I so love those fixes. It is amazing what you can find in your bucket of miscellaneous.

Hey Guys, I am looking for the fastening nuts for the clutch and or variator. Where can I order from. The local hardware store does not carry the correct pitch for the nut. they have 14mm nuts and bolts but it is like 100mm pitch. And with one revolution it stops. I have a linhai 257/ with a 16 spline off the gear box. The one's I have still work but am looking for replacements before it is too late. The socket size is your typicall 19mm. I know I saw them somewhere but OOPPPS I forgot. I know pay a little more attention when I am poking around. Help PLease Thanx

The 3/4 will work for a 19mm but am not sure on the plug. My plug is an 18mm and I would definately find such a socket to remove. Maybe an 11/16 would work instead of 18mm but I am not for sure. But for sure if you remove the plug it will make it easier to turn over the motor.

Hey Todd, Right now I am running a 228x23 belt in my 250. Your 856 will work just fine. Like Jr. said it will improve your pick-up but lose a little on top. This little belt I am running now is incredible at stop, but when driving up hill on the highway it does suffer. bought 2 new 856's and am planning to replace if it stops raining long enough/ along with a few other things.
