Just talked to the dealer and they received the gear box Saturday from IB. Hee said I should get in one week or less.
Gonna rack her when it comes in and pull the axle u-joints and shafts and go thru and check all bearings and the huds. Not gonna miss anything....
Let's see now, special tools....Bettter get a new small ball pean hammer and a 16 oz claw hammer.
Yeppers I'll be ready...

Ride her every day Al. Wife and I rode her on a 72 mile run into and all over Largo and St Pete and home. She will still cruise at 58 -62 mph with both of us.
I think I will gap the valves at 2,000 or 2,500 mile, soon. She runs and sounds nice but I think I should

Good news Mike!
Actually you should adjust the valves for the first time around 1000 miles.
And don't forget the the 20 llb sledge hammer for the proper fit!

Jim,
This lady runs like a champ....should I still adjust the valves???
I think the top valve set @ .004 and bottom @ .005... Right?
Or did I hit my head too hard testing that ball pean hammer?

It is not apart yet Jim, another 67 miles on her today...They said 5 - 7days to my door. Gonna play and ride like a silly kid till it gets here.
Today took off the big windshield and put the stock back on. Too much wind but she powered out at 71 mph on GPS....Only get to 62--64mph with the universal 50 slip but sure is a nice quiet ride...

Got that Gear axle box 36lb box from UPS today..........
Ice Bear Warranty is 100%
I gonna have even a sweeter ride soon....that 4hing has been rumbelling and winning

Update...
Old axle gear box is out, not all that much to it...Checked all bearings ok. Both axle u-joints good, hubs good. Making new gasket for u-joint hubs and will install I hope in AM
