Got mt new scoot yesterday.After installing all arse. added gas and started after 5 or 6 tries.Went for a 1 mile ride and temp gauge barely moved.How long before temp gauge moves?

My temp gauge (also a 257cc) goes just slightly over the C line. I've found the only time I even go up a quarter of the way or so while is idling in the heat while waiting for a red light. In the winter it barely moves.

My fan was not connected so after a 6 mile ride it hit 3/4.At idle it went to H.Connected fan all is well.Tomorrow a flushing and new coolant.
