I may work a deal on this scooter that needs work. Is it worth the risk? He is asking $300.

I have the title.
The scooter was running fine, battery battery was low, I put on charger and the next morning no power when I turned the key. Took it in to the scooter shop and they said the fuse blew and may have caused damage in the harness. Said to be safe I needed a new wiring harness. But to put it on required a lot of labor (had to remove the metal sides of the scooter. Estimated 6 to 7 hours to take off wire and replace (about $350-$450 in labor).
Scooter is liquid cooled and has 11,000 miles on it and was running good prior to the charge.
Rather than getting it fixed and trying to sell it for $650 to $750. I thought I would try to sell as is to someone with mechanical ability and a little time They could get a big 250CC scooter for a small price.
