I'm still waiting on my mc-74-150, but meanwhile i'd like to get together an order for parts. Im looking for dr.pulley sliders, a 15/37 final gear and a high quality variator, maybe a uni filter also.
I've heard that there are only a few variators worth adding, which are the best? And what vendors do you guys reccommend?

Welcome to Scooter Doc, foretwoone. The GY6 150cc is a very popular engine with tons of aftermarket and OEM parts. Please check out our banner advertisers as they have an excellent selection and reputation. They carry the most popular brands like Dr. Pulley, Velocita, NYC, and Polini, etc. Some even give forum member discounts. Just click on the banner you are interested in.

When I need parts I use the guys at the top of the site. They're good vendors that help support the Scooter Doc no Google ad fund. They will all be glad to talk to you about the parts you need.- Jim at Rapid Repair owns a brick and mortar shop and is an experienced mechanic.
- Dave at Absolutely Scooters is also B&M mechanic.
- John at Valley Scooters is an internet scooter dealer and also now sells parts.
- Steven at Monster GY6 specializes in scooter customization and sells performance parts as well as some stock.
- Mike at Buggy Parts NW sells great parts at a good price and has a lot of tutorials on his site.
- Rick at Scrappy Dog has very low prices and is very popular with the membership.
- Tom at KidNMe leans towards CVT parts and you may want to talk to them about your variator. He also has some world class tutorials.
- Scooter Chrome Parts is our latest addition to the banners and has many unusual chrome parts and some nice performance upgrades.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy from any of these guys and in fact am about to blow some money on parts!
