Exhaustion

Have had a stainless exhaust on the scoot for a couple of years now and have developed an acceleration rattle at the connection of muffler to header pipe where the two springs hold it together. The fit is just too loose. I can clamp Vise Grips on it and noise goes away, but looks pretty stupid. Have been wondering if something like one of the old VW bug exhaust tip clamps would work. Short of just having it welded, that is about the only thing I can think of unless one of you geniuses know of something that would work better. I'm all ears (eyes). Thanks!

Thanks! Wanted to ride without the noise so stopped and snagged a VW bug muffler tip clamp which will suffice until I can get it welded. By the way, like the black, looks clean!
