Hi...the intake is set at .004 and the exhaust .006.....this will do the trick...you will have to reset the idle after the valva adjust...takes the beast out of the scooter....enjoy the ride...

Just a note....change the valve stems....to balance the tires add DynaBeads.....change brake fluid...change oil, I use 10W40 and transmission oil 85/90 gear oil....change the coolant......50/50 mix....and do a good PDI.....check everything for tightness and general condition of the scoot....not hard just needs to be done.....the valve adjust will go a long way to getting it up and runnng..I have a Roketa MC54B-250 Cyprus....2008 model....Silver....3000 miles and smiling all the way to work and back....highlight of my day....... the guys and gals on this forum will help you in anyway they can....great folks....enjoy the ride.....

I cut the plastic where the battery sits. I use .004 on the intake and .005 on the exhaust...I also had to buy a valve adjust tool because using needle nose pliers to hold the valve stem wasnt working for me as the vavle would turn as I tightend the nut...ill see if I can find the link to what tool...I had bought it at a yamaha dealer, as the linhai clone is a clone of the motor used in yamahas....

oh hey bhinch what is a PDI? i dont understand sorrry, but i am very mechanical inclined though lol Hi frankresso. PDI stands for Post Delivery Inspection and it's something that should be done upon receiving your scoot and before putting it on the road. Of course, if you buy your scoot from a local dealer, this should already be done. Here is a link which should give you all the info you need: chinesescooterreference.com/pdi.htm
