Hello all, if I have a bad fuel pump on my yy250t, would still at least start if I was to spray starter fluid into carb, and or feed a lil gas manually??

Vacuum fuel pumps usually lose pumping capacity before they stop pumping altogether. So a bad (weak) fuel pump could pump enough fuel to run the engine at lower speeds while not pumping enough for higher speeds. That is the usual scenario. Before writing off the fuel pump, all vacuum hoses and connections should be checked.
If the only problem is a completely dead fuel pump, then starter fluid (carb cleaner recommended) or a manual gas feed should start the scoot.
