Of course if your engine is not fully broke in 100 psi might be normal for a gy6 engine. I'm not saying that 100 is or is not normal just something to research but probably to late now. Im sure you have already sent your engine in. I know on alot of car engines it's not until the engine is broke in does the compression psi get higher. It's possible 100 psi is normal for your gy6 engine and you may be taking the engine out for nothing.

A new GY6... never even run... should get at least 150 psi compression...
100 psi and the engine needs a rebuild

Update: the engine has been rebuilt. Same issue. The carburetor has been replaced. Same issue. Now I am sending in the stator.
