You can find out who made what scooter at this website

www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/rules/manufacture/

On the right enter the first 3 letters on your VIN number.. mine is 'LF3' type it into the WMI field. (it is also on the engine number, but may be different) WMI (World Manufacturer Index)

Then on the left just select the button that says 'WMI'

Then hit the search button...

For my scooter it searches and finds :

Lifan Industry (Group) Co Ltd
WMI LF3/
Address 60 Zhangjiawan Shangqiao
400080 Shapinba Dist Chongqing, China 400080
China

So if you really want to know who made it use this website...

If your scooter is not listed chances are it is made by a very small Mom & Pop company in China...

That's a really good database Sprocket, when I searched LCE I got the CF Moto factory and their holding group. A lot of folks have used the 2 Stroke Buzz VIN page but of course there's no search function other than your scroll wheel . Rich
