When you say you put a charger on it , IS THAT when it starts when it is putting juice into the battery? If so it has to be your battery that is NOT putting out enough amps to turn the starter. Batteries can check out good without any load on them BUT put a LOAD and they will fail. If you have a Volt Meter check the battery as it sits there and see how many volts the meter says it has. Alley is right on with this. My scooter wouldn't start either. Charged battery and it started right up, next day dead. Charged it again then took it Advanced auto where it checked out fine. JR told me to take it to Auto Zone and have them do a load test. Well it failed 4 load tests done on it. Went to Walmart and purchased a new 9 Amp battery. Runs great and starts right up. Make sure you have a load test done before looking at starter, etc.
