At 2,500 miles, the belt on the CVT in my Roketa 150 decided that it had had enough. Every other time I've done anything to the bike, I took pictures every step of the way, so of course as soon as I start screwing with something mechanical, I skip that step. I don't know why. Anyway, I took the CVT case off sometime early last month and, uh, I have no idea what this thing is. You can see me holding it in the picture, and it looks kind of like a fuel line, but I'm not sure why that would connect to the transmission, or what the screw on the end is for. Is that the screw that the caution label is talking about? Basically, where do I put this hose? Attachments:

That is your Carb Drain Hose. It is connected to the bottom of your Carb and that screw on the end if you Loosen it up the fuel in the Carb bowl will drain out. That is to drain the gas out of the Bowl when you are taking the carb off or Some drain it when putting it away for the winter or storage. Put some silicone on the End of it on the Screw, they tend to vibrate loose and you will have gas spilling out. It may even happen when your riding and you will be looseing fuel and you would not even know it. Alleyoop

Aha! Thanks!
I was trying to figure out where that could possibly go, but it sounds like I can basically bolt it on anywhere it doesn't interfere with something else.

Yes, it is usually bolted to one of the CVT cover bolts in front and just points down or out. Alleyoop

It is used to drain your fuel system for winter storage...people rarely do this. I guess they prefer to clean the varnish out of the carb jets every spring... go figure... Attachments:
