I have Ice Bear 150 c Trike.
Problem 1. It would start run fine when I take off it would start slow then die crank right back up take off then die again. (had to push it 2 miles up hill home).
Problem 2 (new) when I go to start it it just clicks which is the relay but starter never turns over.
What I have tried.
My thoughts with clicking was battery bad so I tried another battery low so I charged it and still same clicking no motor turn over. I made sure it had gas.
Please help I'm very handy but new to the Trike just point me in the right direction. Thanks for all your help

Starter motor or solenoid is bad...
Take a screw driver and short the posts on the solenoid. If the starter runs ..replace the solenoid. If the starter doesn't run replace the starter motor
You need to drain and clean the fuel system and disassemble the carb and run a fine wire through the main jet...
You main jet sounds like it is plugged

I think his problem is the Pilot Jet if his problem is when he is starting off and it craps out. In any case whether it is one or the other you need to clean out the carb and its passages. Alleyoop Get a can of Spray Carb Cleaner they come with a long thin straw. Take the Pilot jet and Main jet out and clean them out and then stick the straw into the holes the Pilot Jet and Main Jet came out and spray. Spray should come out as the pictures show: Alleyoop

the pilot jet adds fuel 0-1/8 throttle the needle jet is from 1/8 to 3/4 throttle and your main jet is 3/4 to full throtle two small pieces of tape and a marker can save you tons of time with jet problems. Where ever the throttle is its telling u where the problem is.

Many people have a Misconception about the Pilot Jet, it actuall feeds fuel all throughout the throttle range. Of course as you open it up to raise the Needle out of the Main jet it sucks out less fuel but it is always sucking fuel from the bowl through those tiny holes in front of the butterfly.
If you ever had your engine give a BRUP sound at WOT it is telling you it is Lean and needs some more Tequila. And all you have to do is Richen up the Pilot Jet and no more Brupping or running a little lean on the top end. Alleyoop
