I sold my BMW K100LT tour bike, and decided to move up to a Roketa 75 (actually back probs keep me from long rides so this seems a good compromise.) It was ordered from SuperiorPowerSports.com last week, and given "warehouse backup" issues, is supposed to be delivered next week with the "free PDI."
Does anyone have experience with this 2011 model 75? Does it have improved mfg standards, better hoses or electrical hardware, any other hopefully pleasant surprises for my owner PDI? I understand that there should be SOME differences from the 2008 models, and I would appreciate a good discussion of this subject. And of course general comments on the 2011 75 as well.
Thanks all--Chas in Dayton

I ordered a 2011 Roketa 250B/Jonway YY250T from them and the hoses were better than I was expecting. They were in good shape and stamped (not sure if it was legit or not) and tightly fastened. Electrical had some grounding issues, they had them connected to painted surfaces and not bare metal.
The fluids still need to be changed after you uncrate it, just to be safe. They did install a NGK spark plug during the PDI.
Hope this helps. Good luck!

Hey Chas, I grew up in Toledo, been through Dayton countless times. Do you have a link to the scooter you bought? I didn't see it on the SPS site. Here is a link to the dealer experiences board for Superior Power Sports. Rich

My wife and I have very similar scooters to that, I think you'll enjoy it. Roketa Motorsports was founded in 2004 as a company to import and wholesale motor scooters and motorcycles, ATVs, and go karts. It’s actually a DBA (doing business as) entity under the parent company Goldenvale Inc, a Chinese owned corporation based in Ontario, California. Roketa makes your standard Chinese quality scooter that may need some tweaking here and there to keep it going. If you're not familiar with Chinese scooters, the parts are almost all interchangeable and you can buy from about any supplier with your engine code and scooter type. I have heard that the Chinese factories are making an effort with the newer models to get some of the basics like hoses and electrics up to snuff. Also, when we bought ours online, you could forget about them doing a PDI or assembling anything. This picture Superior shows of the crate scooter is pretty accurate for what we got:
So I'd look your scooter over carefully when you get it just to double check the PDI and feel free to ask for help on this board if anything needs a little tweaking. Rich
