jayblaze, in that first picture it don't look like you have a fender. Dirt kicked up by the back tire is going to fill that filter fast/ agreed, i would get some sort of rear fender or maybe get an angle fitting so atleast the filter would be sideways and wont suck in as much dirt. also if you get caught in the rain or hit a water puddle, you could sling water up into that filter, and if your wide open you could suck the water through the filter and into your motor

Looks great SABER, that should take care of it. I really like the Frankenstein look though and think those fittings hanging out would be cool. I'd probably go with brass though rather than steel. Rich Hey thanks. I chose galvanized purely due to cost. If I had the cash I would have gone with stainless steal. But that gets expensive real quick.
