if i buy a performance variator and use slides will this be better than stock variator they claim to be lighter than stock right now iam using sliders instead or rollers mix of 3 5g and 3 6g

tawas, What are you looking for out of the Variator. If your looking for a little more top end speed the Variator you buy HAS TO BE BIGGER in diameter than what you currently have. Otherwise it will not do much for you except change the gear ratio. Most will give you better start off and mid-range but not top end some you MAY LOOSE TOP END. Alleyoop

Sorry I do not know the size of the Variator on the scoot but they are usually in the low 70mm You also have to see how much space you have inside the case so if you get a bigger diameter one it will fit.
