The point here is that Rich rode the stuffing out of his Fashion the same way Jim63 rode it out of his Roketa. Chinese 250cc scooters aren't meant to run at 70 mph for miles at a time. You can't blame the scooter, the manufacturer or the distributor when they're used like that. Our beloved leader would be stacking blown 250cc scooters up like cord wood if he stayed with Chinese. Not just CF Moto, but Roketas, Pumas, you name it. He has a long, high speed commute and a China scoot isn't up for it.
They can't be ridden like a 1500cc Kawasaki and survive.

Bashan, Same process for changing a tire on a 2007 Kymco. This 2007 Kymco I just bought had to have a new rear tire in 3700 miles. kalee

Did that correct what you wanted? Do you mean the process for the Kymco is the same as the CF?

I'm new to the forum and to CF Moto. I have 3 Honda 250 scooters , 2 elite 250's and a Reflex. I bought the 2009 Fashion for $400 with 1700 miles on it. It was parked about a year ago when its owner died. My question is there's a lot written about replacing parts like cooling fans & I wonder why not buy used OEM Honda parts off eBay? Helix used parts are cheap ( Reflex parts aren't) .Thanks for the forum. Oh fyi the Reflex Yahoo forum has a files section with how to tips that should transfer to this platform. Best Wishes ! Jon

I started a different thread because different topic. Asking about substituting Honda Parts for CF Moto parts.If the post was to Me I have 3 Hondas, plus the CF Moto I bought a week ago. I have done basic maintenance and a belt change on the Reflex plus I did the K mod to the Reflex and cha ged the outer varistor face to a big ruckus face.I put 10,000 miles on the Reflex and about 5000 on each Elite 250.The Hondas have been reliable and besides price having seen a Fashion on Craigslist with over 30,000 miles peaked My interest.I'm thinking as parts need replacing change to Honda. I plan to change all fluids including coolant to Honda equivalent since Hondas that have coolant that has silica in them have problems.
