Alright so I adjusted the screw, and I replaced the belt and it is still acting foolish. The engine does rev when I try and take off, I am beginning to think it is the clutch. What do you guys think? Secondly the numbers that I got of the engine block are
1570MJ *110524039*
When looking to replace the clutch what kind or brand should I get? Where is the best place to order from?
Thanks in Advance again guys!!! Clarence

Good, it is a 157QMJ GY6 motor, same motor I have on my TRIKE. As far a the clutch goes you can get them just about anywhere But I would get one that has bigger pads on the arms. What that does is more material grabs the Bell and less slipping. I have the NCY Clutch on mine and love it. I found that the Springs that come on the Clutch pads are eithert 1500 or 2000 rated springs. With those on your RPMS must climb to around 3500-4000 before your scoots starts to move. So I ordered 1000 Clutch Springs and now my Trike starts to move right around 2200 rpms. Here is what I got: NCY RACING CLUTCH and NCY PERFORMANCE BELL Or you can just get a standard Clutch which come with less material on the pads. Alleyoop Here is a picture of my standard Clutch that was on there and the NCY Clutch and see the difference in the pad material on the arms.

Which clutch did you get? If you got the NCY Clutch get the matching NCY Bell. Also ask them if they have the 1000 Clutch Springs that FIT THE NCY BELL. Your everyday Springs they sell everywhere DO NOT FIT they are to LONG. I know I ran into that problem. Alleyoop READ THIS ABOUT THE NCY CLUTCH & SPRINGS and where I ordered the correct ones. www.scooterdoc.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=critiques&action=display&thread=4576

Do I need to the get the Variator and the Bell too? [/b][/quote] Didn't you replaced the belt already? You don't need to buy one to match the clutch or variator if that's what you mean, just get the right size. Why don't you pull the clutch and variator and inspect them before you start ordering parts? You could also inspect the bell and if it's not all scored up and glazed don't spend the bucks. If you want to use the shotgun method then go ahead and get the variator and a clutch with bell.Alright found the clutch at Scootertronics. Um....you sure you want to use that dealer? Here is just one member's experience with these guys, we've had many more complaints that weren't put on the Dealer Experiences board. If you go to the Scooter Doc vendors board the banner parts dealers are identified by a thumbs up icon: These are the vendors who support our no Google ad fund and are guys we feel you can trust.
