I need to say this for my peace of mind.In a prior post I remarked upon how relevant and definitive this site is for info on our scoots. Now , I need to speak about my recent perceptions on the interaction here. We, as a group have, by and large gotten along quite well with each other, but I am beginning to see more and more posts that degenerate into flames. None of it is necessary, not all of us have the same experience, knowledge or finances. That`s all.

That's a good point Russ and it's a subject that has come up in more than a few PMs to me. This issue was also raised on Jay's Spectacular Journey threads. This seems like a good time and spot to address this subject. Forums are discussion mediums and inevitably opinions and belief systems are going to clash. This can lead to spirited, heated, and sometimes confrontational interaction. It would be ideal if everyone kept their composure and all conversations were sedate but this is not always the case. As a moderator it's difficult to draw a line in the sand on limiting the interaction between members without venturing into censorship. Certainly on the technical boards there is no reason anyone should have a harsh word, we're just trying to help one another. On the discussion board, topics are more fair game and subject to occaisional head knocking. I don't want to have a forum where we all have to pretend nice and walk on egg shells to avoid bruising someone's feelings. Having said that, things have been venturing over the top on Jay's thread, and yes elsewhere, and we should take things down a notch. Spirited debate is welcome on this forum but we need to keep it civil, things can escalate rapidly. Your comments are certainly welcome on this issue.......YOU IDIOTS! Rich

Thank you Rich. This is the board that I go to for good answers and grown-ups.I really appreciate the guys on here. For any insanity I hang out on Moped Army`s Off Topic forum. Over here , I feel like I could invite any of the guys and ladies into my home and we would have a great time.

Well at the very least we all have scootering in common . The desire to keep them running at the lowest cost , no matter what your financial situation . Now that leeds to another thing we have in common doing our best not to part with the moolah !!!!!!!
