Does that scoot have a leading link front end on it? I don't know if my terminology is correct but I think this would be called a trailing link suspension. The fork is frontmost anchoring the link pivot. It is followed by the shocks and the front axle is on the end of the link, farthest from the link pivot. Make sense? You are right,I was looking at wrong

I am going to check out a place that has alot of scooter parts tomorrow from wrecked scoots , etc.I can take pictures of what he has with the 19 spline. Most 50cc only have one shock and mount on the left side, so that should not be an issue for the right side bracket.

Has anyone on this board bought from this company? I have been reading good things on other boards about them and was curious if anyone here bought from them? www.jiangwayne.com/scooter/index.php

Ncredleg, PM TVNACMAN you probably will pay less than I DID. It is a 107mm Variator which will fit the 150s, that is the largest you can fit. The OEM they come with are usually about 1/2 inch in diameter smaller. the 107mm measures 4 1/2 inchs across so measure yours, it will probably come in just a hair over 4 inchs. Alleyoop Thanks for the link, Alley.

I need to say this for my peace of mind.In a prior post I remarked upon how relevant and definitive this site is for info on our scoots. Now , I need to speak about my recent perceptions on the interaction here. We, as a group have, by and large gotten along quite well with each other, but I am beginning to see more and more posts that degenerate into flames. None of it is necessary, not all of us have the same experience, knowledge or finances. That`s all.

And that is a FACT JACK. That Variator has a good low end ratio and good top end. I ran it with the 13gram rollers first cause that is what it came with. Okay, so , what is this variator and where can I get one.

I want to acknowledge everyone`s input and camaraderie.I`ve met some good folks on here and definitely had some serious questions answered on my scoot. I have been working on the carb , making a new intake and lost the pictures that I took of the vac and fuel line locations. Guess what , they were already posted here in the Library with tags .You can`t beat that kind of info . Thanks. ;D

Have`nt read all of the posts but take the battery to an AutoParts place like O'Reilly`s or AuotZone or Advance. They can put it on the tester for free.It will tell you what it`s state of charge and whether it is any good.

Has anyone installed their carbs facing front? What issues have you had with it? I was told by a company that I could not use the stock manifold because it would tilt the fuel bowl incorrectly and starve the carb. Does anyone know if this is the case? I really need to know ,this is holding me up. Thanks in advance,Russ
