Yeah.. you can start at 3 turns on the air fuel mixture but you need to fine tune it by adjusting the screw until you get the fastest idle rate at 1/4 turns. When you get the highest idle that is the correct setting on a hot engine...2 1/2 or 3 turns is just so you can start the engine...
