BUT
i have to admit she had a great voice
some say she was "the voice'
idk about that , but have to admit she is/was close

Yeah, she had a great voice that's for sure. I was reading that she went on a verbal rampage at a store just a few days before she died because someone said a negative thing about her in print. I never understood why people that seem like to have it all go on tantrums like that. Rich

we all think its so easy to have everything

That's true but a lot of folks just seem to roll with those things too. I guess it has to do a lot with the way we're wired. By the way, my tunes run to Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Denver, John Prine.....maybe we were at the same concerts. Rich

I believe one factor in so many performers going to drugs is the sudden availability of so much money to buy the drugs with. And the money to buy their way out of the difficulty they get them self into, so they do it again and again. They are no different than the common folks who manage solve their problems and go on with life. M. jackson probably was the extreme example of this. john

Beautiful voice. Too many in the industry are sucked in for the wrong reasons. Profit, the price of fame, losing sight of family, real friends, unable to cope they turn away from what's important in the end.
