I bought a gasket kit, when I bought the parts to build my engine. Last night as I was going to start assembling I realized that there was no gasket to join the case half together (Portion of the case where the cylinder fits together.) Am I missing something or is there not a gasket that goes there?

There is suppose to be a gasket there. Which is where the two halfs meet around the cylinder which is this one. After This one goes another one for the Starting Clutch area when you close it with the crankcase that has the dip stick.

The gasket that goes between these two halves. This is the gasket I think I am missing.

I am an obvious noob who decided to take on a task that people said was impossible for me to do, but I am getting it done. Just a little slow but its getting there. The one I posted is for the Starter Clutch side that is correct, I did not post one for the inner half only the outer half. Alleyoop
