Got our first delivery of SYM Scooters.
Brought in the Fiddle ll. This was the first time I've ever been on a SYM, and all I can say is "um-frickin-believable"
Exceeded my expectations. Fit and finish is flawless and the motor actually purrs!

Oh I dunno'... if it isn't rattling, shaking parts off and spewing smoke it isn't much of a scooter now is it?
Or maybe that's just my scooter...

Matt If that's your Stella you're talking about Matt then you've got a well broken in two stroke fella. They run best when the piston clearance lets it slap during deceleration or steady state running. My old KH 500 triple smoked, rattled and rolled like a rocket for 30,000 miles until I sold it. If it's one of your four stokes, well, www.partsforscooters.com should have just the parts to make it run like new.

What's amazing is that the Fiddle II is built in China. It's more than a match for a certain overpriced Italian 150 according to what I've read.

I miss two stroke road bikes. I see them on Craigslist once in a while but the owners are no fools and want too much money for my taste.
BTW Cookees. Fabulous scoot. It only goes to show what the Chinese could really build. I've been loving the Fiddle and Cali Classic since they first showed up.

For the last few years I have been kind of watching for an ad for a 2 stroke too. When I was much younger I had a new bridgestone 90cc and then I was given a yamaha 2 cyl 100 cc that my dad had rode for a couple years till he got afraid of dogs chasing him. He could have out run them but was afraid of speed too. I also had a greeves 250cc that still had a title and could be plated and run on the streets. I think about 69 or 70 they quit giving titles to racers and off road bikes. john
