If the filter is foam...wash it is hot water and dish soap and let dry for a couple of days... No better filters unless you want to loose the entire air box and use a K&N on the carb intake... www.knfilters.com/

Is there a trick to get the cover off that holds the foam in place its that grate piece.. Or do you have to take the whole air box off to do it right.. Trying to learn as you can tell. My Harley is earier to work on lol Alley has been a big help too.

From you pictures you just slide it from the left side...and poke it smooth through the grate...

From you pictures you just slide it from the left side...and poke it smooth through the grate... That's what I did. Maybe later on I will change that setup to K&N much better and yes I know I have to play with the carb to. OH well it should be fun.lol thanks for your time
