god i hate doing a valve job, make me puke. [image] its not the actually valves that are a PIA its getting to 'em [image] takes me 3 maybe 4 times as long to get all the tuperware off, & i have to take my battery out & the floorboard so i can get to the exhaust one. & then its still tough to get my feelers gauge down there & also i cant see, im so blind. [image]
so, get 'em set get started, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap DANG THINGS [image] must slipped. take floorboard out, set 'em again go to put cover on OM Fing G didnt make sure it was TDC [image] son o' b&tch ok TDC , set 'em w/o putting floorboard on start. cool they r great run her around the block 2-3-4 times [image] listening, yep fine put ALL the tuperware back on go in, wash my hands, tuck my hair in a bit, change pants gonna take Chrissy for a couple mile run to make sure.

I hate it too. I swear I am going to weld up a bracket that bolts on to hold the seat up similar to a ruckus next time I have to take the plastic off mine./ To do the exhaust valve I find I can lay the scooter on its left side for better access. That plastic just plain sucks. The cure would be a decent head with inserts or made of a decent metal like a real honda uses. You never have to adjust valves there.
