I have just signed up with this forum and would like to say it seems to be a great place for guys like me. I posted that I am thinking of buying a 300 either a Magumn or a Tornado and just wanted to know if there was any major issues I should be aware of. I was a little surprised on how much they weigh. I have breifly look through the forums and read some posts can anyone tell me on the maintance end about the three different oil changes or lube changes that need to be done? I know about the engine but the tranny and rear end have me alittle confused. Is there any differnce between the two model other then looks? I mean is the drive train the same for both (reverse, engine, suspension, etc ) Thanks you Rudy

Welcome aboard!!!! Ice Bear has made some changes to the Magnum and right now it is not known what they have changed so just hold out till the changes are posted.. They are nice for the money but a lot of work so if you can turn wrench and stay on it you'll love it

Can you help me with the different oil changes? I read somewhere in a post that you had some problems with cracking is there anyway that can be fixed before it gets to bad, I would hate it if it started to crack. I am not a body man no something about mechanics. Thanks Rudy

That is probably one of the things they are probably redoing due to complaints about cracking due to the one piece rear cover. They may make it a three piece one center section and two fender covers. One piece sitting on the rear you have to expect cracks covering such a big area. The only other item I see that needs upgrading the the rear axle. Alleyoop

Ice Bear ownership is back from China now. We are waiting on him to have a meeting with the staff to find out exactly what the modifications were and when we can expect to see the new models in the States.
The 2011 Magnums had stress holes placed in the rear fender assembly to help with the cracking issue.
Some feel there was a vibration issue with the 300s I am sure that is one of the mods. We will just have to wait and see.
