So I have the motor on my new 50cc Chinese gy6 clone broken in. I had to adjust the idle because it started stalling at stoplights. I have heard that the low speed mix is set very lean on these. Should I adjust this also? If so how do I get the cap off that is covering the screw?

What year is the Scoot, if it is earlier than a 2010 then the screw is behind the plug if its a new Scoot there MAY NOT be a screw behind the plug. But to find out you have to drill the plug out, no other way. Most will just buy a After Market carb and mess with the old one after they get the new one in. Think of it this way you will have spare parts all but the Fuel Ratio Screw. Alleyoop

Great find Cruiser, cheap plus free shipping can't beat that. I always tell folks google and find who has the better deal cause the prices are all over the place. Alleyoop
