YY250T CVT Cover Bolts By chibs (Read 939 times)

Hello all. Got an interesting question for you. Did some work to my Clutch and Variator and apparently i did not tighten the CVT bolts good enough (lol, i know i know. swore i did).

Any who, i am missing one of the bolts but i am unsure as to the correct one I need for my cover. i see some listed as Short Case and Long Case. Can someone point me in the right direction.

Please feel free to point and snicker, yes, i am a doofus.

Those are probably the same CVT cover bolts that are on my Fashion. I looked online and they don't even supply them with a new CVT cover. If it was me I'd remove the other one and take it to Lowes. You could get a close metric match and use some washers to get the length just right. That's what I would do but I can't stand scouring the web or going blind looking through Ebay. Rich
