sorry not a scooter newbie, just coming over from another board cause i hear you guys are more skilled at repair and techincal knowledge such as myself. I dont have my spare engine apart, but this just doesnt look right. looking at it this doesnt seem to be the 16 inch wheel crank assembly to me as he has it labeled, seems like the measurements are for the standard 150, am i wrong or and i confusing the bn157qmj, 1p57qmj, and the 157qmj whats going on with this, what crank is this engine for? i need a crank for my plain jane gy6 long case. www.ebay.com/itm/Crank-Shaft-for-150cc-Chinese-GY6-BN157QMJ-Engine-/160675183883?pt=Other_Vehicle_Parts&hash=item2568fcbd0b&vxp=mtri need one and if i can get one for 30 dollars i think i will have one, the extra money i save will go into a bbk. to rebuild my old engine back into a spare.

Oddly enough I just pulled the crank out of my 1P57QMJ about an hour ago. I went downstairs and measured it and it's 280mm end to end, not 300 like the one on your link. The 1P57QMJ is a long case with a hinky head, other than that it's plain Jane 157QMJ. The BN157QMJ on that link is considered the "B" engine and is not interchangeable with the standard GY6, especially the crank. Save your money, the crank on that link will not fit any permutations of our beloved standard GY6. Rich

Yup the 'B' engines are wider and many other differences as well

okie dokie thanks. too many numbers in my head to keep track of. i guess i will go pay full price for one, darn it
just couldnt remember i thought i crank i was looking for was 287 mm nose to nose. but who can keep anything straight without a notebook anymore. so your measurement or 280 seems right. and the p head is 13mm higher or some nonsense. okie dokie thanks i was just trying to save a few bucks.
