Sunday was absolutely gorgeous. After I got my chores done, I decided I'd go out for a ride around the lake and see what's happening. I'm on the lake and watershed protection committee so I try and keep an eye on things. Anyway, I rode around for about 15 miles and was headed home. In the past few weeks, I've seen a silver maxi cruising around. I was about a block from home when I saw it sitting in the driveway. It turned out to be a Majesty. I stopped and introduced myself to the owners. They're a couple about my age that moved into their place in January. Seem like nice people. We may try to do some riding together. There are also a couple of other scooter riders I'm trying to find and maybe organize something.

I would think you couldn't swing a cat without hitting a scooter around there. Look at this aerial photo of Lake meade:

It looks like an ideal scooter environment and with lots of residential roads and gorgeous scenery. There's got to be a couple clubs in the area. Rich

The closest clubs that I know of are about 20 miles away in either York or Camp Hill. As long as you're looking at the map, my place is at the bottom end of the lake arm at the bottom right. Not lake front, but lake view.
