Hey fella's: After having my Magnum 300 for about 2 1/2 years I noticed a vibration in the right side rear view mirror. I pried it off and reset the mirror (glass) with silicone. It worked so well and took so much of the mirror vibration out I decided to do it to the left one as well. Might want to check your mirrors. The right one was very wobbly.

Mine is has a vibration also but it's the mirror shaft the part that screws into the handlebar. Does anyone know what I can do about that?

Lee you have not put after market mirrors on that yet??? Guess you will have to take it apart and see what is loose, when I cleaned my garage out about 2 weeks ago I threw a set of them in the trash didn't think anyone would have a use for them. The after market mirrors are longer and screw right were the originals were

Tierod: Not sure what you are discussing here. If it's just that the rod is not snug enough based on where your mirrors are positioned you can shim the mirror stud to tighten it up. If it's a vibration cause by too loose of a screw in stud you may not be able to do anything about that. Mike, I like the originals once I fixed them to where I wanted them to be versus what the factory gave me.

I have stuff in the space ear hearing protection foaminess to keep the vibration to an minimum. And to the person who thinks they have to delete some of my posts. This is not necessary since they are not in violation of nay rules on this board. So if recommending an member do an write up to I dont know, help out someone else instead of I have an secret.
