Some Folks have PMed me on how to go about and add this little mod to their turn signals. Now if your current turn signals DO NOT MAKE A SOUND but they just BLINK and you want them to BEEP Here is what I put on mine. Alleyoop INSTALLING A TURN SIGNAL BEEP ON: When making turns I always put my turn signals on. The problem was that I would make the turn and forget to turn off the Turn Signal. Sometimes I would go for a block before noticeing that the Turn Signal was still on. So I bought a Universal Turn Signal Beeper from here: www.rvtoys.net/motormate_002.htmThe Beeper has three wires Two Red wires connect to your left and right turn signals and one is Ground. The Red wires already have Diodes in the wires. How to connect: On your Left Handlebar there are about 8 wires inside a rubber tubing for protection. The Orange wire is for your left Turn Signal and a Light Blue is for your Right Turn Signal. Connect one of the red wires from the Beeper to the Orange wire coming from the Left Handlebar and connect the other red wire from the Beeper to the Light Blue Wire coming from the Left Handlebar, Then connect the Black Ground Wire from the Beeper to any good ground and your done. Decide where you want the Beeper because you may need to add wire to the wires from the Beeper to extend the reach. I put mine right in the Center of my Handlbar Cover and the wireing for the Left Handlebar are right there so I did not have to add any more wires to the Beeper. Also If you find it to loud just take some tape and tape part of the top of the Beeper to muffle the Beeps. INSTALLING A TURN SIGNAL BEEP OFF: Go to Radio Shack and get a Relay #275-248 to stop the BEEPING when you have the Brakes on and waiting for the Light to Change. It gets a little Nerve Racking sitting there with the Thing BEEPING and BEEPING. Solder the Wires onto the Relay with the Proper conections. All you need to do is Find the Brake Live Wire when you pull the Brakes. It is a Light Green Wire on mine There are only Two wires coming from the Brake side and one is Light Green and the other is Dark Brown or Black use a Probe to find the Live Wire. So now when your stopped making a turn holding the brake NO BEEPING but as soon as you release the brake to make the turn it starts beeping again to remind you to turn it off. Here is how to connect the Relay to the Beeper and the Brake:

What a great idea. I am going to go use the idea of a relay to make a set up to warn me that the head lights are still on when the ignition is turned off on my truck. For ten years I have been driving a Malibu that had automatic head lights and never had to worry about turning them off when getting out of the car.
