Seen some people here post about piston shaving so i just wanted to post about my new build We just got the piston back today from the machine shop and they did a great job! Cost me $50.00 but well worth it! The last two pictures that has two pistons one if the shaved one and the other is the same one but unshaved. This was done for a 6mm stroker crankshaft.

looks good, nice work. I wonder how much metal is left on the piston head. /also will the weight difference effect the balance of engine? - 6mm should not be enough to change weight but you will see. That beats trying to get a spacer in there then find a cam chain that fits and more chances of oil leaks

Finding a timing chain is the hard part. luckely there are other stores here in Puerto rico that carry a bunch.

There is actually still alot left that can be cut. I plan on getting a Wiesseco 62mm Forged Piston as an upgrade to this one but they are a little more expensive so i am holding out on that for now
