I picked up a Yamaha Vino XC50 last year and would like to change the engine oil. The manual recommends 10W-30 for low ambient temp, 20W-40 for higher ambient temp. I went to several places and could not find 20W-40. I even went to the dealer looking for Yamalube 4, but they didn't have it.
Does anyone have recommendations on a readily available oil I can use in an XC50?

Oil's are getting weird, I was in Wal-mart yesterday and noticed many grades that were around before are gone. Use 10W-40 for warmer weather. It's around all the time and will work fine. Don't bother with exotic or synthetic blends, use dino. JMO, Rich

15w-40 oil works great. It is used in trucks and you can find it most everywhere.

They recommended their 4-Stroke 10W-40 for Motorcycles which I was able to pick up at the local auto parts store.
