A couple of days ago, I rode my scooter to go meet someone, about 15 miles one way. I pretty much rode it wot between lights, when I got to my destination, my friend wasn't there, I kept the scooter running for about 15 minutes as a waited on him, it shut off by itself and I was like OH NO, my friend shows up, and I held my breath and tried and start it and to my disbelief it started. It was burning up outside, I decided to head back home while I could, as I rode home, everything seemed OK, as I got home I turned it off and checked it about a day later, now it won't start, it kinda looks like no fuel is going through the filter and I see some black particles inside the filter, but it is not pumping any fuel through the filter...Any Ideas on what I should look at first, and maybe how the heat may have did any damage. My scooter is a 150cc ruckus clone like the one they sell on scooter depot

Start simple, drain the tank and replace the filter. You may get lucky. Rich

I got it running, I saw that the hose from the fuel pump or petcock and the fuel filter. The fuel filter was completely dry, so I pulled the hose and sucked with my mouth, and received a mouth full of 92 octane UGHH, but got the fuel flowing again, I have 3500 km on this scooter and it never did anything like that before, what would make the pump in 107 degrees stop working like that, and if I replace the fuel pump would that prevent that from happening again or it just happens... Thank everyone for their support and help

You should be running 87 octane in a GY6.. sounds like you had a vapor lock...common in hot weather

Sounds like your filter blocked, maybe even the line from the tank...Drain the tank down and flush it out and see what it looks like
