OK, had enough fun with the 11 gram rollers in the Magnum, great for around town but slow on the top end. My 20x12 DP Sliders will be here in the AM or Monday at the latest. This Magnum came from the factory with 14 gram rollers in it and a little jerky on star outs s this should do it fine. Clutch is clean ready for for the smooth action. Will let ya all know soon how the sliders work on it, they are again 20x12 and 12 grams... Need to get it painted Honda Yellow one of these day...
Magoo - your at it again....

Let us know how it turns out. I used a turbo max variator on a Magnum once and was very impressed with it. It is made in Spain and is totally different from any variator out there. Problem is they are spendy.

i put in 20x12 13g in my magnum. replaced stock. The low end and takeoff is better, top is bout the same -- got a front wheel shake over 50 so don't know if really any better top mph.. better climbing loss in speed by bout 10 mph (35mph to 45 mph at top of hill) on western central pa '' HILLS '' gotta replace front wheel i guess, gonna check balance first tho.. thinking about DP clutch too, for lockup adjust, less slipping on hills..

PRSONS, I have a set of 11g, 13g, and the factory 14g. I am told the sliders will open the close the vairator more to force the belt up so am thinking the RMP will be about right with the 12g sliders... Let ya know in a few days when I get time to get them in

No never had that but if sitting a ong time moisture grabs them sometimes. Check your pads. Just ordered yesterday and received Dr Pully rollers today not the sliders. Will call them Monday may just drive there and exchange if it is ok. I want sliders and told her that when I ordred. Fast next day mail every time I use them

I did get the sliders Monday, nice place there at Parts for Scooters, Universal Parts Warehouse. They do not take walk ins you have to order but he said I could pick up parts anytime if I call and allow 2 hours for them to locate in ware house. I have company but they are out today so may try to install and take for a spin. Than I shall go for the hub spacer replacements and roller bearings if needed. Going to make as many mods as needed to tighten all the play in the rear wheels so can run her on the roads smooth at 60 -65 MPH
Magoo... I got a hammer forevery every repair and super glue for the weakstuff, why when I get done this thing will spit Al's little 150 Tinker Bell Trike trike with a puff of exhaust when he is left in the SMOKE....
Magoo LOL, you done it again...

I have taken it on a test ride but did not mark the CVT see the belt going all the way up. May do that today, but she is running great with the 12 gram sliders and very even at low speeds what a difference. I only took it to 58 mph VIA GPS as I have the side cover off still for testing and was windy and hot. Will mark vairator and make sure I am getting all there is and buckle it up and start on the read hubs and bearings

WOW.. Nothing but good to report on the 12 gram Dr Pulley sliders on the Magnum. Smooth easy start off, very smooth even running at low speeds like here in the retirement park, no jumping at all. I marked the inside today to see how the belt was riding and she is all the eay up. I took her up to 64 via GPS but only for a few swconds as speed limite was 45mph. Noticed I may be a little lean on mixture also. May ride her a little befor I take the deck off and get into the hubs and bearings just do what I can to get the play out of the rear wheels, have to have sleeves made to replace the ones in the hubs as they are to soft a material for what they do.
