Hello all, I got my hands on an El Camino mini chopper that was purchased new back in 2010. It was taken apart ( all the body plastics ) and never started. He kept it in doors so all should be good. The battery was never setup so that should be good also. The bike needs a good going over which I don't mind doing, but I don't have any manual or info on it other than what I could find on line...which was not much. The guy I got it from is looking for the paper work which might help me some. He also mentioned something about the way the foot brake was installed. Anyone out there have any better info or know where I can find some? I guess I would PDI this just like any other scooter. I'm just not sure how I would adjust the gears if needed. it's a 4 speed manual. It's this bike in Black. I really need to test it as I may have to sell it because I do not think it meets DOT regs for NYC. The seat is too low to the ground. Thank You! Attachments:

Those are really cool, I love that engine. We had a guy about a year ago buy one of those and apart from the carb it was pretty much SOP going through it. I think that's a side draft carb isn't it? Anyway, it has the CDI electrics so it shouldn't be that bizarre. Rich

Great engine. I have the 50cc equivalent in my Cub clone and it's rock solid.
