hello all, i've changed the rectifier and diode, if my CDI unit is bad will the bike still not charge as it should?? thanks in advance

Your CDI has nothing to do with charging your battery. the CDI is was controls the Spark and i think timing, revlimit

Thanks for that 1, so i wont be buying a new 1 of those (CDI).... now does the wiring from the ignition switch have anything to do with charging??? again i've changed the rectifier and diode and the jonway yy250 will STILL NOT CHARGE.......

yes your wiring will have something to do with the charging look in the tech section and you should be able to find a wiring diagram for your bike have you check the fuses and the grounds that is where i would start and if everthing is ok then i would test the stator
