Hey everyone! My name is Justin and I just recently got my permit and will be buying a new Jonway Agility this upcoming week! I have never owned a scooter before, and I am excited to start riding.

Welcome to the forum, get us some pics of your new ride and let us know if you need anything. Thanks Bashan, I appreciate it! I'm guessing since it is a chinese scooter there will be things that will eventually need to be done to it to keep it running to optimal capability. When that time comes I know I will be needing your help for that. Speaking of which do you know if there are things that need to be done right away to help the scooter ride right?

The first thing to do is set it on the centerstand, start it, warm it up for a few minutes, and change the fluids BEFORE you ride it:
The engine oil should be checked by sticking the dipstick in the fill hole and not screwing it in. For the gear oil, fill it by pushing it in directly from the container until it dribbles and then let it stop before replacing the plug. For the engine, use conventional 10W-40 in the summer and 10W-30 in the winter. Use 75W-90 for the gears, synthetic is OK but not necessary. Then change the fluids again at 100 miles and every 500 afterwards. That may sound like a lot but it's easy to do, cheap, and will help the engine last a while. You should also set your valves immediately, and every 500 miles afterwards. If they get noisy or the engine starts running like crap, set them early

Is there somewhere else to fill the engine with oil? and I don't know if I will be able to set the valves before i ride it, I will need to ride it home from the dealer first. and I don't even know if i can safely set the valves without breaking anything :/
