I bought a new 2011 250 jonway a few months ago. I've put about 800 miles on it and it starts and runs great. I fill the gas tank with a can in my garage. The 6inch plastic hose fell into the tank while I was filling it today and I don't think there is any way of getting it out. [I've tryed with a wire] Is it going to hurt any thing by just leaving it in?

The hose diameter is probably 3/4 to 1 inch. It probably was about 5 inches long. It just slipped out of the round part of the gas can cap.

I have also dropped a depth gauge into my gas tank a long time ago. It was a long wire, with plastic cover that I used to compare the depth in the tank with the guage readings. It will stay there until the next time I have to strip the deck pad off and expose the tank. Then I may take the tank out and clear it of any and all items in there.
For you, if the hose is gas safe there is probably no problem but the loss of a few ounces of gas in the tank. But you could put it in your next tear down justification list. .

Thanks bobf. That makes me feel better. I took it on a long ride today and it is running great.
