Recently having trouble starting scoot  it cranks 2 or 3 time before trying to start, runs for about 2 seconds and I got to keep cranking few more time like that before it finally stays started, but today it did the same until I the battery gave out  What is going on  Attachments:

Just over night, had battery tender on it (I know battery is good and charging good) some time ago I had trouble with a crack in my intake manifold, use liquid tape on it and wraped with elictric tape, that my be the problem again (could not find a intake for mt scoot because its a dual port) I'll show pic. could that be why I'm having trouble?

Came home last night and tried to start scoot (it fired right up) this gets confusing, I'm still going check all vacuum lines and re-fix this intake.

get a vac gauge on it Rich , if itis less then 5 " it maybe your problem .
does it have a vac fuel pump ? could be weak vacuume or a weak pump .
also check the battery voltage while cranking , if it is dc cdi and the voltage drops , that could be the problem .

tvnacman, found problem, used my water & soap spray bottle, (yep it was the intake manifold again. I got it fix, starts good now, (I need to find a dual port intake manifold, can't find any, I'll show you pic.

Thanks Alleyoop, re-fixed it with duct tape, good for now until I get one.
