Ok so I'm new to the world of scooters. I just bought a used lance Malian 150cc. It has been sitting out in the elements foe a few years. I have driven it so it runs, I need a new Batterie and new master cylinders on it. I have been looking for a diagram of the engine to see if anything is missing or messed up. When I look at it I have no idea what I'm looking at. Does any one know where to find a diagram? Thanks for your help. Therion

Hey! Welcome! Did you check out the Tech section farther down the home page? I'm sure some of our Chinese 150 gurus will get back to you too.

Well the 150s and 50s are pretty straight forward: You have a Carb that is connected to the Intake Manifold which is connected to the Motors head. Then on the other side of the Carb you have either a Air FIlter connected right on the Carb or a TUBE which goes to an AIR BOX which has a Air Filter inside.
Then you have the Hoses, One is your fuel line from the GAS tank that either goes to a Vacuum Operated Fuel Valve then another hose from there to usually a FUEL FILTER then another hose from the Fuel Filter to the CARB. The Vacuum Operated Fuel Valve Requires VACUUM to open and close the Diaphgram inside, So there will be a VACUUM HOSE connected to the Fuel Valve coming from the INTAKE MANIFOLD or a "T" or "Y" to supply Vacuum to the Carbs ACV valve if it has one.
If the scoot has some emissons on it there will be other hoses as well as MORE Vacuum hoses to operate those Vacuum emission Canistters.
But the Best thing to do is TAKE PICTURES of the top of your motor Carb Area and hoses coming and going then we can tell if everything is COOL. Alleyoop

Here's a tutorial on how to use Photobucket. It's a bit dated but should still be relevant.
